- It is oil but I feel it doesn’t have the punch of an oil painting.

- Great start. Reminds me of Claude Monet’s work.
- It has a pleasing color theme, with muted greens and rich reds and yellows.
- You have created a great composition out of a challenging subject with many moving parts.
What could be improved for next time:
- Appears unfinished. A few more hard edges and details would take it to the next level.
- You could make more of a statement with the red flowers by adding a few dark accents.
- Make sure to load your brush with enough paint. As John Singer Sargent once said, “The thicker you paint, the more it flows”.
